I'm so stressed right now. I'm really tired. The last couple days ive only managed to get 1 - 3 hours sleep MAX
I think the heat has been playing around with Oliver and making him unsettled.

I had my health visit with the nurse today, she noticed i was tired and had a go at me saying " Well make sure you get sleep we dont want you harming this baby" If i wasnt so overtired i would of gave her a peice of my mind.
They are just being complete assholes to me..just about had enough!

Then there is the fact i have to drive down to brisbane ( 3 hours ) with Oliver to go find a car....and buy it. Being in the heat....and not knowing if i will be able to find a car......just all building up!

That and i was stupid enough to lift the pram today..and i think i hurt myself because now i have lower cramps in my stomach :|

Wow what a charity case i am...Lol. I just would love a vodka, my pillow and lots and lots of sleep. Then i'm sure i will be right as rain :)

Is he crying a lot? He's probably got colic.

Not crying alot. Its more that he has a pain - the wind thats caught and SOMETIMES he has troubles burping it up, and gets frustrated and all he wants to do is suck more which makes the situation worse.

But today i had him in a aircon area, and he slept fine no worries. I do think it comes down to the heat distressing him.

I bought the drops to help him burp up. But i'm not allowed to use them just quite yet, i have to wait until he is 1 month old

i would of thought if you were breast feeding that he wouldnt have so much wind. and your health visitor sounds a right bitch

My health visitor recommended it. My youngest used to scream and scream with the colic pain. My husband and I were really stressed with it and couldn't get any rest. Within 24 hours he was fine - no more crying - contented and we could relax!

Babies get colic even if they're breastfed. It's not because they're retaining wind - it's due to the lactose in the milk - it's hard for them to digest it and they end up by suffering pain. People think that colic is just wind, but it's not - there's more to it than that.
You can use the colief from birth.

The women in the chemists used to laugh whenever I went in to buy it - they saw the state I was in when I first went for some and then saw what he was like after I'd put him onto it!

That's okay. I'll brave the wind and rain and pop into chemists! I wish it was summer here :-(

Lol, i would prefer the wind and rain anyday over the heat we have been having lately.

I'm just glad i'm not pregnant anymore.

We don't get much heat in the UK! Even our summers are pretty lousy, but anything is better than this wind and cold! It's so miserable!

Sarah, Megan was the same way. She ended up being diagnosed with acid reflux. But I did try using those gas drops, alot of people have luck with them.
Back when I was in your postion, not getting enough sleep, people would always tell me "This too will pass" I always wanted to slap them, but you know what, it will. Megan now goes to bed a 8pm and wakes around 7-7:30 am.
I know that it feels like you will never get to sleep again, but you will.
Do you try and take naps when he naps?
