well after leaving wednesday as most of you know i got stuck in baltimore over night. well the day day arrives, 7pm at night and roll call finally began we went through the gates and boarded maybe 2 hours later. we flew from baltimore to ramstein germany, a total of nearly 10 hours just to get off the plane and be told we are delayed there 24 hours too. yeh so this time they comped for hotel, but we all went to the same one. and instead of having common sense and keeping us on base at hotel there they drove us on buses 1.5 hours out to this german hotel. they wouldnt give me my stroller so for about 36 hours i was lugging him back in forth. mind you germany wasnt very warm. it was extremely windy, cold and sleeting and rainy oh and beerfest was going on not even 50 feet from my room. so on top of having no heat in our rooms, being on the 4th floor outside we have loud germans singing american music which was funny except at 3am when you're trying to finally sleep to be up at 5am. seriously though the rest of the day just seemed to have gotten worse before actually getting better and coming home. i never thought id say it but im so happy im in turkey right now ↓
