Name: cheryl [ Original Post ] I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter who screams that she went pee pee in her diaper and want to possibly start potty training her. THe problem is i can't get her to sit on the potty. I have tried bribing her, had her watch me use the bathroom. She used to sit on it but now she won't. I am still not certain she's ready yet but she shows sins she's getting there. Can anyone offer me advice on how to get her to sit on the potty? ↓

Try a seat that fit's onto your toilet. ↑

Keep a bowl of M&M's on the back of the toilet, everytime she sits down for 5 minutes give her one. Make sure she knows they are there and that she only gets them if she sits on the potty.... OR Get some of the good old fashioned training pants and let her pee down her legs a couple of times. THAT is what worked for my daughter. ↑

My daughter was 2 in october and we are just BARELY attempting this :) We bought a small seat that fits on the big one. Try this & see if it helps. Good luck!! ↑

try blue food coloring or red. Show her how it changes after mommy pees in the potty! Some kids like the magic! ↑

let her run around naked well kinda coverd my little one hated to feel it run down her legs ↑

Another idea is let her see you using the toilet. ↑
