Well Hi Irene. I read here that you want to know about me. Let's just say that I am blunt and will tell you what most people just think. For instance, if a mom comes on here and admits to illegal pot use, I will tell her she is wrong. One, for breaking the law and two for setting a bad example for her children. I am not a sappy person who just tells others what they want to hear.
Irene, you complained about your boss because you were writing down menu prices and he told you to go and make wraps and rolls before lunch. Many on here just gave you the typical poor you and bad boss speach. I did not do that did I. I told you your boss did not hire you to write down prices. He hired you to be productive. So why act surprised and offended when he tells you to make wraps and rolls? Geez! ↑ |

no JJ you are just telling people what YOU think. Don't fool yourself by thinking that other people feel the same way but just don't say it. Blunt or not they are just YOUR opinions.
I have been in the restaurant business for 17 years and here is a bit of information for you.......an employee that does not know the prices is not as producitve as one that does. In Irene's case she knows that it will benifit the customer if she can make their lunch and quickly process them at the register........she took the time to write down the prices so she can do just that.....she did so at an appopriate time when the cafe wasn't busy. If she worked for me I would commend her for making the effort to better service the guest. ↑ |
