My father died at the end of March and I had to move down south and finish off my preg here. Now i can't find a job! I've put in over 30 applications and have had so many interviews but nobody will hire me! They don't say why but i can guess because i'm preg...what should i do? I really need to get a job.

Im not sure what state your in but you may want to look into disability insurance. Pregnancy is supposed to be treated as any other disability. I strongly suggest it!

May be you could work part time. Most corporations do not want to pay for the insurance.

You may as well wait until you have the baby now beings your 7 months and all.If you're in need of assistance go on welfare and get help through there until after you've had the baby and can get on your feet again. You probably aren't getting hired now because they figure you will just need to quit in a few short weeks anyway plus need more time off to care for your newborn.Your best bets to stay with family or friends awhile and collect welfare if you can.

If a potential employer does not hire you because you are pregnant.. then that is concidered discrimination... i know, cuz i've blown the whistle on a couple already... but try going through a temp agency.. that's what i did.... I'm 8 months preggers and I now work for Washington Mutual, and they are planning on offering me a perminant position when if i decide to return from maternity leave.. It wouldnt hurt to try, plus temp agencies are a lot more lienient when it comes to pregnant women...

Look at work at home jobs posted on the WAHM website- they are screened and legitimate- just don't get sucked into the paid e-mails discussion forum. Can't make a living at that.

I am a consultant for Once Upon A Family. I sell products that help families connect in loving, joyful and meaningful ways. Our products are beautiful and we have a product for everyone, even dads. Like our dates with dad journal. I thought some of you might be looking for a stay home job and this just might be what you have been looking for. It is far different then anything else out there. Go to my website and look for yourself. The business started 3 years ago, so if your looking to get into something ground level...THIS IS IT!! I first heard about it at a MOPS Meeting..Mothers of Pre-Schoolers. I am a teacher, but now I have something where I can set my own hours, be home for my son and husband and still bring in lots of money. I gross $1,700.00 a month but I have only been at it for 5 months. If your interested check out my web site at www.everlastingheritage.com Hope you like the products. ? ?

I have a solution of a REAL WORK from home job for you that I am doing now. I know that you can do the job to make money at home because if you are posting in this forum, then you can do what I am talking about. Another good thing is that it is an inexpensive program that works. Just take a look at the website that I put at the bottom of my message. What do you have to loose to just look?! But whatever you choose to do, I hope that it works out for you!!

I understand that some women have a problem getting work when they are pregnant. I am a HR Director and just today, believe it or not, hired a woman that looked pregnant. But here is a solution for you while you are pregnant and not being hired, which is against the law!! I know that you can do the job I am talking about to make money at home because you are posting in this forum. Another good thing is that it is an inexpensive program that works. Just take a look at the website that I put at the bottom of my message. What do you have to loose to just look?! But whatever you choose to do, I hope that it works out for you!!
