I'm 5 months pregnant and I work in a pharmacy where I pretty much stand most of the time. So far, things have been very good. Though my feet aches most of the time, compression stockings really help and they're suppose to reduce the chance of varicose veins. Plus, I've been snacking a lot which helps reduce my hunger pangs. Good luck to you!

Hello..I'm about 34 weeks along and just recently had to go on my maternity leave.. I guess to answer your question ..it all depends on the work that you do..You need your rest, How much can you do sitting down? Are you able to put your feet up? And are you able to "snack" between your breaks? I worked in a production sheet metal shop and it was hard at times to keep up my normal pace, and found it hard to bend over pallets for some jobs. Good luck
