HI everyone I am feeling terrible I just had my baby 2.5 weeks ago and I have to go back to work in a week and a half and I feel terrible about having to put him in daycare Now I have always worked and I have other children they are a bit older and they are all in school but for some reason I am having an extra hard time putting this one in daycare has anyone else ever have this problem and does anyone have any advice on how to make it easier to leave him there?

You're probably having such a tough time about it because he's so young and you'd much rather take care of him yourself,(understandable)! I would suggest while your still off work taking him to a sitter for just a couple hours even so you and he can adjust to the big change that's comming soon easier! Good luck to ya and bless both of yas! :)

Maybe even just a couple hours a day from now til you go back to work would help you adjust better!

Lizzi that is a great suggestion! I will try that Thank you. Also Sunflower I was really hoping to not go back to work until Keegan was at least 8 weeks old sadly my short term disabilty is giving me crap saying my pregnancy was a pre existing condition even though I had the insurance 2 years before I got pregnant and they approved me to get pay checks on maternity leave 2 months before I actually left on leave so now I have to fight them but since my husband and i have 4 kids I can t sit home and wait on my appeal which they say can take up to 3 months and it breaks my heart to have to leave him already
