My husband and I have been together for seven years, married for five. I have been married before, I have a 17 year old son with my ex husband (had him when I was 19). My husband and I have a 4 year old son, and have always talked about having two children (we discussed this before we were married). After the birth of our son my husband "decided" that he didn't want any more children, I DO! I want another child, we both agreed that we never wanted a slew of children, but wanted two or three together, now he has changed his mind. His reasons are financial, although we do not struggle financially. I think he is making excuses for something else, which he says is NOT true. I think about having another child DAILY, how can overcome this?

Even though you say you don't struggle financially, your husband may just be thinking that one is enough and things are going o.k. so far but really doesn't care to have more now because he likes the comfort of the finances and the way things are and doesn't want to rock the financial boat any more than it is right now.
