Hi im 18 and gave birth to beautiful healthy baby girl on 04/12/2005, its great and i love being a mum.
You girls are so young and have your whole lives in front of you, make sure being pregnant at that age you know that u will have to grow up quick, being a parent is a big responsibility and that its not always easy. Just make sure ur all doing the right thing not just by your selves but also to the child your bearing, if you know your not mentally or emotionally stable enough make sure you dnt bring a child into the world unless you know you can give it the best chances in life possible. sammi you're not much older than they are.
you're 18 with a baby. not saying that's bad, but how you can tell other people they have their whole lives ahead of them when really, you do too. being a mom only slows things down, it never stops them. these girls maybe doing this at a really young age, but at least they're taking that responsibilty. for you and i sammi it'll be easier, we're older, but i'm sure that if these girls are that far along, mom and dad know about it and are gonna help them! girls, just take good care of yourselves and the baby and you'll make it great. please, do your best to continue on with schooling. even if it's night schools or home schools. it's still school! i dropped out and i regret it each day, but i didn't drop out because of my baby. i'm 19 and i just found out last wed. i'm having a baby. i'm a little over 6 weeks pregnant now and terrified. but i'm gonna be great! :-) i know it. we'll all make great mothers. i think sammi was trying to go for guidance there. but please, do not use abortion as birth control. that's not what it's there for. you girls seem to have your heads on, somewhat tight. just be safe and keep your heads in the game at all times. don't let anyone bring you down. you'll be great.

iloveyou831, Don't worry that your body won't be able to take it. My best friend had a baby girl just two weeks after i did and you can't get much smaller than her. She is 4'9" and only weighs about 90 lbs. Her and her baby were fine. Her baby was on the small side but then again so is she. Also I was on the small side. I am about 5'5 and only weighed about 110lbs. however, my body grew with the pregnancy. Your body will adjust. Good Luck and enjoy your pregnancy.  =

hi. my name is Cassi. i'll be 17 in 1 day! (july 30th) ... im very excited, but i need some huge advice..... About 2 days ago, i engaged in sex with my boyfriend of 2 months. it wasnt the first time, though. but, this time the condom broke, and i know that he came in me. Blair, normally 1 day after your missed period home pregnancy test will detect HGC (the pregnancy hormone)... There are a number of different reason your period could be late...like stress is a big one,or perhaps your body is just off schedule... Maybe you should make an appointment with your Obgyn...good luck!  =

the only advice i can give you is....go with your heart....you think about it right now and it sounds like a good idea and you can probably think of all the logical reasons to do it....but once you are farther along and you start to bond with your baby , you will probably change your mind....thats how i was, i was 18 when i got pregnant, and everything worked out fine...i know u are probably terrified about the thought of being a mom but once the baby is here it kinda comes natural to most women....you are VERY lucky you have your mother there to back you up!....i gotta give you props for not having an abortion as well!...at least you are responsible enough to rule out that action  =

My mom is a very kind and understanding person, seeing as she got pregnant with me at 17 also. Ryan really wants to keep the baby, but he says it's up to me to decide. I know that if I keep the baby it's gonna be really hard, because by the time he/she is born I will still have 2 months of school and then college up ahead. Adoption is a great way to go, but I wonder how bad that will impact my life, ya know giving up my baby. Even though in my heart I know that I made another family very happy. I want to do what is best for my baby, just right now I dont know what is.

If both tests have came back negative, then there is a high probablility that you're not pg. Wait another week and take another test. If you still don't get your period, and the tests are still -, then you need to go to the dr. and have a blood test. Alot, of women have had false negatives with urine tests. Try not to worry too much b/c the stress could delay your period even more as I'm sure you know. SOme women do have there periods when pg, but the majority don't. Hey girls. Hope you dont mind me asking, but where are you all from. Not being rude - i promise, but in my country, hardly anyone is pregnant at this age. Most people only have kids in their late 20's. Just too expensive. We receive no social grants what so ever, so its really expensive to have kids. Only every now and then do you hear of teen pregnancies, and even then they are generally 18 or 19 years old. Please dont take this up the wrong way, im just interested.  =

Hay girls I am now 26 years old and married, but I got pregannt while I was 16 and had my son when I was 17. It was the hardest thing I have ever done. I know how scarry it is to still be in high school and have to worry about child care. I was very lucky because I had a very supportave family and my aunt baby sat for free while I finished high school. I also went on to to get my BA at OSU in english I decided that I didn't really like teaching and there is not much else that you can do with that degree so I became a paramedic and a firefighter. I am now in school to get my BSN to be a nurse. I am 13 weeks pregnant for my second child. It is much differend this time because this child was planned and I can be happy about being pregnant instead of ashamed. Girls what ever decision you make about having this baby just know that your life is not over you can still do great things. You can still do all of the things that you wanted to do before, it will jsut take more time and work. The biggest tihing is to finish school so that you can provide a life for you and your child. Also if this is your first pregnancy learn form it and let your next one be planned because one is hard, but more is even harder.  =

i am 14 and am currently overdue 2 weeks. my mum had late births aswell (i was 6 weeks late) so im not going to be induced or anything FREAKY!
Just so you know i dont sleep around with guys or have a boyfriend (i never have) or anything i was actually sexually abused and became pregnant. it was a really hard time for me deciding to keep it as I am a "strong" christian, but i couldnt bring myself to kill something so precious and unique and PERFECT!!! even though it came from one of the worst experiences in my life.
i have lots of support from family and friends and just hope i bring my baby up well.
i am especially worried about post-natol (not sure how to spell) depression.
I am going to continue with my schooling , i have decided it best to school part time (i worked it out wiht the school) and my mother of 9 will look after my baby during the day .
I cant wait to meet this amazing person thats been growing inside of me... I see it as a miracle even though it came in a horrible form to start off with... Thanks  =

i dont see how thats funny. My mother had all home births and all have been at least 2 weeks late and we are all perfectly healthy children. I was born 6 weeks late and my mother refused to be induced , its just not natural. i have been a perfectly healthy person all my life (which i know is not that long) and i agree with my mother if i thought it was any threat to my baby then i wouldnt be so against it.  =
