| Legalized. For the dipsh*t Judge.Judy and her wonderful additions to this thread, the FDA also has approved tons of drugs which later were found to cause problems. Oh yeah, Oxycontin wasn't addictive according to the FEDS. The government is so bent on keeping it illegal becuase they have no way to properly tax it, plain and simple. As always, it's a money issue, not an American's well being issue. First of all, if it was a money issue do you think our government would spend billions each year on the war on drugs? Second, they can tax it right now if they want to. All they have to do is tax everyone caught with illegal pot a certain amount for every ounce they are caught with. They can tax it and still keep it illegal! And thirdly, ask yourself this "How do places where it is legal tax it?" I am sure that governments that have made it legal have discovered a way to profit from it. | Also, marijuana is now sold, taxed and distributed by Canadian Doctors. Our federal government could easily do the same to make a buck but it does not. Our federal government has overruled any state laws which allow medical marijuana. ↑ |
