| I just read and posted on the private adoption forum right above this forum. I am once again shocked. Someone actually asked Sue if she could turn her back on a child she carried. Is that what you think that a mother who puts her child up for adoption does? Do you think that she turns her back on her child? That is sick and heartless. I would not want you to adopt my children either because you would probably teach them the things that you believe. You believe that to give a child to a loving family that can provide for it and offer it a better life with 2 parents is turning their back. Well I am sorry that you feel that way. I came to this site to see the view from the other side. So, far it is not what I expected. ↑ |

| Dear Sue, I think that what you want to do is wonderful. I know others have their own opinions but i feel that as long as you and your family are comfortable that is what is best. I would like to share with you something. I hope that you do not mind. I am 28 years old. When I was 18 I was diagnosed with having endometriosis. I was also informed at that time that the likely hood of me getting pregnant was slim to none. My uterus was tilted backwards and my fallopian tubes were all out of wack. I only had one that was the proper size the other was significantly smaller. Niether of them were even in the proper spot. So i gave up hope of having a child of mine. Almost six years later i was heading into the fourth operation of my life when i was told i needed to take a pregnancy test. Reluctant as i was, i took the test and found out i was pregnant. My son is now a healthy 4 years old. I was blessed. I went into looking to become a surrogant mother in Feb. 2007. All I came across were companies telling me about how they had clients lined up to pay me thousands. I did not want to rent my body and get paid. It made me feel cheap. But that is only my opinion. I wanted to do things my way. I contacted a doctor and lawyer and checked into doing things my way. I found a doctor to do the procedure and a lawyer to draw up the legal paperwork to transfer all the bills to the parents of the child. and had it all worked out to help someone. That was until i was forced to have a hysterectomy later that year. Now i am in a position to where I met a wonderful man whom I married in May of this year. And cannot give him the one thing he deserves A child of his own. Do not get me wrong he is a wonderful father and it does not bother him one bit. But I long to provide him with another child. I do not know how to go about it but either through adoption or donor eggs and his sperm We will have another baby. I just wanted to commend you. And tell you that i think you are doing a wonderful thing. And do not let anyone tell you differently. I wish i could have helped someone. 3 years ago i found out i was infertile, my partner and i were distraught but we still did not give up with other methods of having children, we tried adopting but that did not go too well for us so we decided to do some research on surrogacy. Dear all,
We are IP's from Europe and are exploring the option of surrogacy in the USA as it is extremely difficult to get a SM here. We are looking for a lovely SM who is open to the idea of having the actual IVF performed here at a private clinic in Europe (it's much cheaper for us than USA clinics). We would of course cover the expenses (hotel, meals, flights etc.)
The length of stay in Europe would be less than one week.
We do not mind if the SM is married or not, of if they are experienced or first timers, the personality is more relevant to us. Once matched we would use the services of an agency local to where the SM lives to help the SM co-ordinate the whole journey from pregnancy to birth.
