Maybe if we keep this post right next to the "Salie's" that claims there is a Doula here, people may get the picture.

Let's try to keep it RIGHT next to it, o.k.?

hi Chris R are you expecting?

Name: Chris R | Date: Apr 3rd, 2006 9:01 PM
Not yet, we just started trying a little while ago. My Dr. had me wait till I had clear paps and I went to a physical therapist to strenghten my pelvic floor again. Now I have been given the okay and can't wait. It's so sad because I really love my son, but I want another baby so much now, I don't want my kids too far spaced out and he will be 3 in August. Are you pregnant? Have kids?

Yes i'm prego due on november 8th with my third.

Well Chris glad to hear you are doing better. Btw what happened to you? If you don't mind my asking

Name: Chris R | Date: Apr 3rd, 2006 9:24 PM
Wow, 3 kids, that's great! I only have one and still have to run after him! I don't mind your asking btw. I had an abnormal pap last Feb. and went through 2 treatments of cryo and my Dr. wanted to get that under control first. I also had a lot of relaxation of my pelvic floor, my son was big and had torn through my episiotomy so I had problems mainly with muscles and even some stress incontinence. He pulled my cervix out with him when he was delivered too, so the work I did helped to pull everything back up, not the same as I was, but much better and now I have more feeling. My Dr. was just concerned about me being able to hold the baby okay, and felt there were too many things we needed to work on first, so she asked me to hold off for a little while.

Wow honey you've gone through a lot huh? My daughter is 4 and my son is 6 so i think this is my last pregnancy but you never know. Has it taken you three years to get better? that's a lot of work to do. I hope and pray you get better everyday.

Name: Chris R | Date: Apr 3rd, 2006 9:33 PM
Leah, thanks for the kind thoughts. It hasn't been too bad. The abnormal paps and the cryo were a bit of a surprise, but it wasn't too bad and didn't hurt, just a little uncomfortable. I was so glad when I went in to see the physical therapist though, that made a huge difference. It's not that it took so long to get better, I just didn't tell my Dr. how bad it was, but she could tell when I went in for my annual exam. Had it all dumped on my last year, but I'm so glad I can lift my son without worrying anymore. BTW how's your 4 year taking your pregnancy. Carson will be close to that age by the time we have another baby.

My 4 year old has been pretty good so far. She's excited to be a big sister. I told her when the baby comes mommy will need her help and she' excited about that. I hope you guys get pregnant again soon. Please keep me informed

Name: Chris R | Date: Apr 3rd, 2006 9:48 PM
Thanks Leah, I will! I'm hoping that it's soon. It's great that your daughter is excited. I know my son is starting to ask for a baby, even wanted to pick one up at the store the other day. Poor kid, I think he's about the only one at daycare that doesn't have a sibling or one on the way yet! Hope all goes well with you and you're having a great pregnancy. I'll let you know as soon as I do!

My Pregnancy is going okay. Except i got in a bad car accident about a year ago and my back is constantly hurting me. It should get worse by november i actually have been told to go on bedrest in september. That's gonna drive me crazy

Name: Chris R | Date: Apr 3rd, 2006 9:54 PM
Ouch! That won't be fun or easy with 2 kids already. I hope it doesn't bother you too much, I know that pregnancy is already tough on your back.

Name: Leah | Date: Apr 3rd, 2006 9:56 PM
Well sometimes the pain is so bad that all i can do is lie down.
I feel bad for my other kids sometimes b/c they want me to pick them up and i just can't when my back kills me

I bet and they don't understand either. Maybe when your belly getsw bigger they'll see that there just isn't as much room right now, of course maybe not, they're still pretty young. I hope the next months won't be too long for you.

Well, my little angel sounds like he's waking up from his nap, better run. Good talking to you Leah, I hope that someday I'll be waiting on my third baby as well. How exciting! Take care and talk to you later!

Yeah me too. Not only will my back be giving me trouble but it's gonna be so hot. So that's gonna make this pregnancy really fun huh?

Just saw your post as I was passing by, I'm always so cold that I enjoyed the warm weather through my pregnancy, but my son was born in Augst, so I did get a little reprieve. Hope you have AC, maybe that will it better to stay inside and off of your feet. Sounds like you have some serious fun ahead of you...kidding... but it will be so worth it!

Hi Chris R how's it going today?

Name: Chris R | Date: Apr 5th, 2006 4:00 AM
Hi Leah! It's good, long day at work and now my son has decided to battle me at bedtime. He came out so sad and told me he was sick, I asked him what was wrong and he told me he needed a waffle and he would feel better. Nice reasoning. Finally got some quiet time and I'm getting anxious because I'm really starting to cramp and feel icky, hope it's a good sign. If not, oh well, I'm such a wreck off of birth control pills. How are you doing?

Name: Leah | Date: Apr 5th, 2006 2:12 PM
Well i've been okay i guess just the regular back and feet pain.
Going to the bathroom a lot lately i guess my kidneys are shrinking huh? well i hope you had some quiet time and are feeling not so icky today

Name: Chris R | Date: Apr 5th, 2006 2:48 PM
Kidneys shrinking? That's cute! Yeah, turns out my son was sick. We were up all night, but I did get to call in sick to work at 4 am while he was crying in the background. They're so sweet they called back a little while ago to see if he was doing okay. (I work in a pharmacy, get great tips on what to do.) So, now I have a little time to myself, not quite what I wanted, but it's okay. I'm still cramping, but not going to think too much of it yet, still have a week to go, could be pms. At least I get to hang out with my little guy today. Haven't had to call in sick for over a year, it's kinda nice, but I feel a little guilty. Oh well, hope things are going good on your end.

Name: Leah | Date: Apr 5th, 2006 3:09 PM
Aw honey i'm sorry your little guy is sick at least you get some time for yourself today. Don't feel to guilty sweetie. I hope your cramps are to bad.

They just hurt, like when I walk my whole left sides hurts, but I can handle it, took some tylenol and should be fine. Now I feel guilty complaining to a pregnant woman, I 'm sure you feel much worse than me. They should be gone soon, hoping I may be pregnant, but trying not to think too much of it. My little one is still sleeping! We've been up since 3 and he went down around 7, hope he stays out for wahile. Poor little thing! I felt so bad I let him lay in with me. He is now sprawled out taking up most of a queen bed. How do they stretch so much? He looks so peaceful right now, there's no way I'm going to bother him.

Oh don't worry about complaining to me that's what i'm here for.
I hope your prego too. As for me my head is starting to hurt and i'm really hoping i don't get a migraine.

Name: Chris R | Date: Apr 5th, 2006 3:32 PM
Thanks Leah. My son was a surprise while I was on the pill, never had to go through this whole "trying" phase. It's fun but a little stressful. I just want to huury up and be pregnant! I really hope you feel better, I never had to deal with migraines but I know that they can get bad. My sister in law went in to the ER when she was around 10 weeks and thought she had a stroke. Her whole left side went numb and she could barely talk. She seriously sounded like a tape player running out of batteries. Turns out it was migraines. Thankful I never had anything too strange during my first pregnancy.

You lucky girl. Migraines are no fun at all. So if you are preggo again do you want a boy or girl?

Name: Chris R | Date: Apr 5th, 2006 4:14 PM
I alreardy have a boy, so I would like a little girl, but at the same time, my little boy is so sweet, and it would be nice to have two little boys plus we have so much stuff! My son wants a baby sister. He even asked me for one, I think he's been around my mom because every time he vists them he seems to ask for a baby sister. How about you, what would you like?

Name: Leah | Date: Apr 5th, 2006 4:21 PM
i would like a little girl.

A co-worker is thinking about trying soon too and her only thing is that she's afraid of the teenage years. She doesn't want grils because she thinks they are more difficult. It's funny! I was scared to have a boy and go through all of the boy stuff, but it's really fun! Mine woke up about an hour ago, happy as could be, fever's gone, but he still won't eat. Must be feeling better, maybe I jumped too quickly at saying home today!

oh well enjoy your day off
