Hi Lisa,
That doesn't sound unusual - when you went to your gp, you may have been to early in the pregnancy to have detect the hormone in the urine which generally doubles every 24 to 48 hours. The hormone (HCG) is easiest to detect first thing in the morning because the urine is generally more concentrated, where as during the day we usually empty our bladders more frequent. There for the HCG level in your urine later on today may have not been high enough to detect.
Best thing to do is go back to your gp and have a blood test done which test for any HCG in your blood no matter how low or high it is, unlike a urine test which usually only detects 25mg or higher.

| hello,when you say you're pregnancy test was negative,you may have taken it too early,you should actually try calculating the dates from you're last menstrual cycle to the time you think you may have conceived.me and my boyfriend was only trying for a baby for 1 week and in that time i managed to conceive,when i took my pregnancy test it actually showed 2 lines but one was very faint,i re tested yesterday and it was still those 2 lines.quite funny actually because i went to bed lastnight with my boobs and think i woke up with someone esles this morning,there huge haha.anyway i hope this piece of information has helped you.if you have a msn addy please feel free to add me on there,its [email protected]. see ya x ↑ |

| i have something to say to girl that wants a baby at the age 11 you have to be financialy emotionaly and physicaly stable to actually have a healthy and a secure mother child relationship with your baby sweet heart take your time and live your childly hood because once its gone its gone no coming back your little body isnt even done undergoing what its going to go through so i dont think your ready first thing you need to do is get your education so you can have a good enough job to provide for your child and make sure your babys father is your husband not your boy friend and hopefully you dont have either ↑ |

| To me: Even though my parents arent against interracial dating I know exactly what you're going through; im black and my boyfriend is white( he's more black than he is white!) , but there are some people who do have a problem with us dating. No your parents cant make you get an abortion and if you really dont want to, make it known( not just by talking ,action too). u so want to be adult about the situation because it will help your mom see side better if yiou come to her like an adult (but remember adults can curse and scream) KIDDING! but sometimes you have 2! whatever it takes and if your mom still wants to be stupid about the situation, let her. rebelling against your mom may not seem like sumthn great to do becus if she's like mine there will be some consequences( like she may try to put you out) . and my mom did put me out. and yes i cursed & screamed at her; but Im 16 and ive had my baby so i know what it feels like. and when I held Keovion for the 1st time it was all worth it ! . this may seem harsh but sometimes u have 2 do whats neccssary if that means having your baby so be it! li know you know you can love and take care of this child so you're mom should be sure too. | You can still be pregnant and have your period... Your stomach doesnt start to get bigger until atleast 3-4 months down the road, but at the 2nd month you can feel it getting harder. If you just had your period, the headaches and sore breasts can come from that or stress and many others. Morning sickness, that is a definate sign, but i thought I was pregnant before I actually got pregnant, and my mind literally thought i was pregnant. i had ALL the signs and symptoms.. Your mind can play mean tricks on you. In the next week, just to be sure, I would go get a pregnancy test. If negative, and you are still having these symptoms and more, take another because it can go from Neg to Pos overnight. In younger women it can be harder to detect the HcG in your blood. I had a blood test twice, and 4 piss test, all negative, but I am now 12 weeks pregnant. They did an ultrasound and could hear the babies heartbeat. I am only 16, but my mother is a doctor, and I did a lot of research. Just dont do to much research to where you are freakin yourself out, because I did that. good luck babe! ↑ |

| he may be right about the baby being a girl...but i wouldnt start buying everything girly yet....usually docs wait til 20 weeks to confirm the sex.....and even then they can be wrong at times....at 12 weeks the baby really is too small to know for sure 100% ↑ |

| omg im so confused! i had sex all last month, during my period and after. my period started on the 24th july and finished on the 27th july a little short compared to usual. during my period i had strange cramps. it didnt feel like period cramps it felt more like ovulation cramps like i get mid month. | can anyone help me out. I had abnormal bleeding last mont after my normal period. I was supposed to start on the 28 and didnt. I took a home test and it was pos. 2 days later I was having bad abdominal pains in one spot and I went to er. They told me that my preg. test was neg. and I told them i had 2 show pos. so they did a new one and it was neg. they told me I had a uterine infection.
