Okay.. I am 18. And I think i am pregnat.
I havent had my period for September yet and I have only 5 more days to start, I dont know when I am suppose to start so I dont know if im late. | Hi everyone.I'm a new member and my name is Aira and I'm 17 anyways I have been having pregnancy symptoms such as frequent headaches, backaches,sore breasts that are getting bigger also getting more little bumps around them and slightly getting darker with more viens visible,I have never been one to have acne that bad at all even when my period was getting close and now its bad,I have abdominal pains once and a while.I had unprotected sex with my fiance on Sept.27 which was the day 11 of my cycle.I am just confused because I took a pregnancy test today 2 days before my period with one of the tests that are suppose to tell you up to 5 days before your missed period but alot of people has been telling me my hcg probably just ain't high enough to detect yet.Also normally befor my period every month I get really horrible pms and its only 2 days before my period as I said before and I haven't had no pms symptoms what so ever.My mom and sister both think I am pregnant my mom had 4 kids and my sister had 3 but idk what do you guys think? alright, i feel stupid doing this, and maybe over dramatic.
but.
alright.
im 17, and am a week late. my period sometimes is a day or two or somtimes 3 days late. but, two days before i was suppose to i had some small cramps, and had light, ittty bitty, 2second cramps on the day i was suppose to start. well, here i am a week later, and well, now basically 8days.. but im reaally moody, my boobs arent much different, but i am nauseated a little. but my smells arent heightened, but i do have had a lot of discharge this week, clear, and white and slightly sticky. i know its not a icky yeast infection, but im not sure whats going on, ive taken 2 tests and both negative. i really dont think my period is going to start...any suggestions, or help, or advice?

Hi, I am new to this forum. I feel that I have something to add and to gain from this.
For those younger girls out there and not so old like myself (25yrs old), I want to say that regardless of whether or not you are planning to fall pregnant that your nutrition is of high importance. Many of you here on the forum have scares or unplanned pregnancies and I feel that this makes it even more important for you all to take regular supplements such as folic acid (it is recommended to start taking it at least 1 mth prior to falling pregnant) as it helps prevent defects in your unborn child (see doctor for recommended dosage. It is also good for you whether or not you wish to fall pregnant).
My husband and I are wanting to fall pregnant. The last day of my prev period was on the 2 Oct, and we tried on 12th, 15th and 16th and my cycle is 29 days. I am heartbroken when getting negative after urine tests, but then again it is probably too early. I feel that I may be pregnant, but I have thought that before and been disappointed. I have headaches (trust me on that), Over the last week I have been very tired and it is obvious, I have felt naucius (not all the time, but every day or two, some days worse than others), an unsettled stomach (bowel a bit funny), occassion pain on the right and left side (just inside the hip), slight pain in my lower back, and some pain in my breast. Now, although I have these 'symptoms' I am hoping that I am not feeling them because I want to be pregnant (I hope I am not imagining them or making something out of nothing other than being sick). I might be able to say that the back pain is from my chair, the headache is not from wearing glasses at the moment... It is so painful waiting. When should a Home Preg Test work reliably? And is there anyone else out there who wants to fall pregnant and has gone through the disappointment of not falling pregnant when they want to... what can I do to get my mind of it? It is starting to consume my thoughts. How have you gotten over the disappointment?

| im 20 years old and ive been with my b.f for 4 years now...we had unprotected sex a few times. I have irregular periods so im not sure when i can be ready to test. My last period was on the 10th of january. today is feb. 7th so im sure its soon. For the past two weeks ive been nauseas and i threw up twice today. Ive had headaches randomly throughout the day and also some lightheaded feelings and diziness..my boobs were sore for about a day a week ago and i noticed yesterday my areolas were darkened and i see the veins along the outside. i feel bloated and ive been having cramps for 2 weeks ive felt like my period was coming which is unusual for me i usually get cramps 4 days beforei get my period which because im irregular its the only way i know its coming. i was wondering what this all means..we dont know what to do were going to try and wait it out to take a test becase i dont want to waste the money if i havent missed a period yet? has this ever happened to anyone or anything?? ↑ |

Just a note to ANYONE who is a virgin and has pregnancy symptoms, there is such thing as a fake pregnancy, if you want to have a baby so much or are so scared or having one you may start to think you are pregnant and get these symptoms, you can make your body make milk, but you are not pregnant.

| ok well im 15 and me and my ex bf never once used condoms and he never pulled out, we even had sex everyday of my period one month!! i took a preg test today and it said negative but i am still having stomach/back pains, morning sickness, nausea, im always tired and i pee alot!! oh and lately i have had excesive gas... i mean i am still havin my periods and all but last month it was only 3 days long and it was really really light and i usually go a week and its really heavy!! i really dont know what to do can anyone help me out? ↑ |

Go to a Doctor and take a blood test. That is a sure way to see if you are pregnant. Dont waste anymore time thinking just do it.
And to answer Lou that is 17 and might be pregnant, Hunny just tell your parents. Your parents will be dissapointed but you are pregnant and you need all the care you can get, just remember that they love you. They prbably have insurance too so you can go to a real hospital and not a clinic... Just tell them it will be ok. ↑ |

| Hi Fee, This post is from 2005 so she won't answer. I have 3 children so I have plent of experience in pregnancy. I would not waste my money on pregnancy tests right now. I think I read in another post that you were having protected sex. So chances are your not. Just being stressed out can mess up your period a little. I would mark on a calendar todays date and if you have not gotten a period by then you probally are. That is when I would buy a pregnancy test. If you can't wait that long at least wait untill you have missed your period. If you do it before then you even if you are pregnant you will get a lot of false negatives and waste a lot of money. I know I wasted enough money on pregnancy tests when I was pregnant. Why do you think your pregnant are you having symptoms? Not to be a downer.. But My first pregnancy was a m/c and my first test came back + and after that we took like 20 *At the clinic* that all came back -... I was in the process of a miscarriage..
But with this one I had a + days before my period was due.. Just wait a little longer honey.. everyone is different. Wait until your period was supposed to come and test again then.. ↑ |

| I think you should go see a doctor, I have been trying to conceive for the last year myself, every month I come on my cylce and it skipps two days before the recent month. For instance I came on my cycle march 27 and i was suppose to come on april 25 but it didn't come. I was having some light vaginal bleeding a week after my last cycle .So I took a test on yesterday April 26, and it was negative . I go back to the doctor on may 31 . What do you think? ↑ |

| Okay. Im 20 and I've been researching pregnancy like no other for the past few months. My sister and my bestfriend are pregnant and due the same month. I think I might be 5 weeks and 5 days. My boyfriend and I had sex on the 6th day of my cycle last month and I took a pregnancy test just days after to see if I was pregnant from the month before. It was neg and the next time we had sex was just before my April period and I had forgotten about the first night untill tonight.. I was trying to figure out if I could be pregnant from having sex right before my last period because I have been lightly cramping, fighting with mucus, headaches, upset stomach, constipation and not being able to hold it, having to go as soon as I feel it. My breasts are sore at different times of the day.. I just noticed two bumps on them and Im always hungry. Well if I just got pregnant it would have been in the last three days (according to ovulation) so too soon for these signs. So I thought maybe last month and just had my period anyway. Then I remembered that I had sex that day. Im scared to take another test, or nervous I should say. I've taken a test every month so far and never felt as nervous as I do right now and I was feeling somethings a couple of those months. Oh, ps. My boyfriend always pulls out but not always way before he cums. I wish I could remember how that night ended.. dangit. Well anyway, what do you think? Do you think I am? ↑ |

| Well, today is a kinda of sad day. I took a pregnancy test and it was negitive... so that means Im not 5weeks like I thought I was. So I guess ill wait a couple of weeks to test and see if I got pregnant this month. and am just experiencing really really early symptoms.. I know Im also getting the flu which is making the symptoms worse so now im separating symptoms and only relying on non flu like symptoms.. like the brest, mucus, hungry... ive been experiencing really high body temps and my basal is at 99.04 which Im not sure if thats high or not.. but it could also be a fever but I dont have the chills. so yeah.
