they just told her to find someone to take care of her baby or get out of the military so she is chosing to get out which is her only income as the father isn't in her life so she has to go back and start all over living at her moms house. I'm lucky that i have my husband that will take care of our daughter but if they try to send me for 15 months i would have to say i would get out. I just couldnt' stand not being there for all of my daughters firsts, like her first word, her first birthday, her first smile. and the fact that coming home after that your baby wouldn't even know who you are. I would have to choose to get out. but i would have it much easier than her because i have someone to help me. she doesn't. it makes me sad how things work.

usually i wouldn't care and i would laugh about it but seeing it happen to my friend sets it too close to home if that makes any sense. and the fact they might try to induce me tomorrow doesn't help matters. sorry if i seemed kinda snappy.

Those are that things that really upset me about our government. That girl gave them her all and they can't give her a year to take care of her child first. I am sure that there are plenty are base things that she could do daily. Couldn't she get some dr note saying that she is not recovered yet. Well good luck in having the baby I am sure that all will work out for you.

the thing about it is our job we are vehicle mechanics and we can't do another job, we are trained to do this one and when our job needs people overseas it doesn't matter if you have family or not. I mean it is different because mostly guys do go but its different taking daddy away than it is taking mommy away. i'm glad my husband got out. my other friend had to leave 3 days after his son was born and he is gone for 8 months not as long as th 15 months but still. i guess i just think differently now that i'm going to have a family of my own to worry about.
