| man i have 2 full grown reds nose they are the best dogs in the world but i have them 4 one reason to protect me and my family and thats that ever person has to decided there reason for haveing there dogs but it is how a person raises them not the dog but mine are not dos friendly or people freendly unless they no the person ↑ |

| I would say yes ,Pit bulls have a better temperment then Golden retrievers but they are not the breed for everyone they have inherited traits that call for specific attention not all pit bulls carry these traits and prove no different from raising any kind of dog say rescued from a shelter and should be a great pet if the pet is given proper care however specialty breedssuch as collies or pit bulls have traits that may make them unsuitable for some owners ,Collies for example are good with teenagers but not with small children because thier inherited trait of herding causes them to be nuiscence to small children and Pit Bulls although not human agressive as shown by the temperment tests given nation wide by the temperment test association of america are generally animal agressive and have a unpredictable trait called turning on where it will sudennly show animal agressiveness around the age of 18 months this trait is unpredictable as it can also show at 4 years old or maybey even never problem is its unpredictable and there is no way to be sure case in point in Medford oregon a month or two ago a women lost control of her pit bull wich was leashed and it attacked a small dog a passer by in order to save the small dog used a pocket knife and slayed the pit bull a observer was asked for his opinion and he said he felt women of little strength should be walking poodles and other small breeds not Pit Bulls ,So Iguess what im saying is to research the breed and make sure the breed is right for you before you obtain one A.P.B.T are great animals for somone that has the money spacedrive a facilities to properly take care of one ↑ |
