| Why would someone say to get rid of the pit bull and get a lab ,or a boxer? I dont see any difference between a pit bull or any other large dog when it comes to kids ,you have to supervise dogs around kids and vice versa.My pit bulls love kids ,the way i look at it is any large dog can hurt a child they play rough sometimes ,even small dogs bite ,not as severly but they still bite.But dont get rid of your pit bull because you were told to get a lab,no dog should be left alone with a small child ,all dogs can be a handful , a german shep. almost killed me as a child ,that does not mean all of them are bad .Think about it ,and if you do get rid of your pit make sure,and double sure she is safe as well. ↑ |

| NO i do not think you should get rid of your pit bull i have the same problem almost everyone is scared to death of my boy and hes only 8 months old and would not even growl at anyone when your childrens friends come over even though you no he wont bite them they dont no that for sure so maybe you should place him out side while company is there or possibly in the basement just keep him somewhere away from him ↑ |

| would you give away any of your children if people were affraid of them. You cant control how people will react towards your dog because some are ignorant, all they show on the media is the negative action of the dog but never the possitive. If he is a good dog then dont worry about what other people think, I have pitts myself and have had the same reaction from friends untill Ive shown them different. Hope this helps a litte. ↑ |
