| Keep the pit bull if you need to.But keep put him outside or locked up when one of your children's friends come over.Also,I have heard of dog trainers that have a mean dog with them for a short amount of time,and he is tame after the short amount of time.I don't know much about it,sorry,but maybe you should look into it. ↑ |

NO! if your dog is still a pupy you should try to trane him or her.
I think you should take your kids and and their friends to the movies,mall or somthing like that. pit bulls have a bad reputashion, Hey so do some bad people. So keep your dog!

| get a roomy-sized cage, put your dogs fave toy(s) and a bowl of water in it, when company is over, let him take a break in his cage! (if dogs are only in the cage for a little while everyday, they actually love it and will go in the cage without being told to. ↑ |

| To any one with a pit who has heard from even one person that these are agressive dogs by nature- NO THEY ARE NOT!!!!!! My husband and I have owned many pits in our lives, and not a single one of them was agressive. It's all in the way you raise them. If you show them love, they will show you love back. They ,can be trained to do just about anything. Right now we have a six month old male. Since he was ten weeks old when we got him, we have worked with him, and he has never shown one bit of agression to anyone, not even our six year old son. So please don't listen to the stereo types, and raise your pits to be good dogs. That way they can start to get a better reputation. ↑ |

| To blue pit- unless your pit is less than 12 weeks old, you should not do it, at a vet or on your own or it could be considered animal cruelty. If it is less than 12 weeks, then take it to a liscensed vet and talk to them about doing it. Not all of them will, but you can try. ↑ |

| Some people think that pits are ageesive all I have to say is its in how you raise them. If you raiset hem be mean and get in fights ,then that what there going to konw is when they see another dog there going to think that dog is wanting to fight. I may only be 11 years old but my friend and her borther raises pits and I have only heard of one fight and the only resin for that was over food. Not all pits are mean just the other night we were looking at slideshow of pits at on one was a little baby and a pit and you could tell that it was'nt agreesive. Like I said before its all in how you raise them. ↑ |
