| I have always been against the pit bull breed. I recently had to evacuate my home due the storm Rita. A left behind pit Bull took up next to where I and my family stayed for 9wks. I fed him by throwing food at him. One night looters came to take anything not tied down. The pit saved our food and us. He is ours 4-Ever..He is as gentle as a kitten with a mind as sharp as a razor. He rationalized in a hair split second, what I couldn't. I was alone and nearly lost my life. Istead the looter lost a small chunk of ass. ↑ |

| No you shouldnt let your dog go unless you think he is mean . I think that people just steriotype the breed because they were ment to fight. I ve had alot of pits and none of them have bitten me or tried to. It depends on how the owner treats the dog for it to turn on them or someone else (most of the time) sometimes dogs can turn ↑ |

| jasus kate you poor thing geting an email like that about your dogs. These people obviously dont hav a clue what their talking about. Im an irishman myself and both pit bulls and staffordshire bulls are becoming very popular in this country. But unfortunatly a lot of young thugs in bad areas are using them for intimidation and dogfighting and so there is a lot of people that want all bull breeds band here. I am a prowd owner of a staffordshire bull terrier and i used also own a pit as well as many other breeds of dogs and in my opinion pit bulls and staffs are the best with children as they understand that they need to be more gentil around them than adults. We as bull lovers need to come together to protect our dogs otherwise all that will remain of this fantastic breed is our memories! ↑ |
